News Release: Publication of "Transformers"

"Transformers: Local Congregations As Agents of Community Transformation / Keys from the Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia" has been published and is ready for distribution.

"Why would Christ choose to establish a Christian congregation in any American city (or any city anywhere in the world)? Is it just because that city needs one more church? Or does every congregation have a distinctive mission in the midst of the city? 'Transormers' is based on the premise that every city has corporate patterns of sin, community iniquities, and 'strongholds.' Those patterns represent the rule of the kingdom of darkness. Christian congregations are representatives of the Kingdom of God in their community. As such, they are planted to model a Kingdom pattern of righteousness, and specifically, a pattern that counters that city's stronghold. If they will do so, the will 'overcome' those negative strongholds and begin to establish the opposite stronghold of righteousnss, peace and joy. They will be agents of transformation in their city in their generation" (Back Cover).

Congrats on the book Larry. I can't wait to read this. Especially since I've been thinking lately on similar topics concerning my service in church and the community.

Nice! I'm very interested in that. Although, I'd like mine with this message inside:

"To Nick, one of my most diligent students. You truly are a genius and as much an agent for change as James Bond is an agent of espionage. You are as much a transformer of this world as Optimus Prime is an advanced image mirroring alien organism. You are as much a ninja turtle as Michaelangelo. Bumblebee Tuna!"

That would make it perfect!
